Culinary Discoveries: Le Cordon Bleu, a true institution

Founded in 1895 in Paris, Le Cordon Bleu is an internationally recognized culinary school. Training is based on mastering classic French culinary techniques in a progressive manner.

Le Cordon Bleu offers a wide variety of short culinary courses designed to appeal to a broad range of interests. Courses are either demonstrations (visual) or workshops (hands-on). The theme, recipes, timetable, and duration vary depending on the course selected. Le Cordon Bleu proposes a range of short term culinary discoveries for those with a passion for the art of cooking.

  • Culinary Demonstrations

Experience a class as if you were a Cordon Bleu student by attending a cuisine or pastry demonstration given by one of the Chef Instructors. During each demonstration, the Chef prepares a complete menu or a series of desserts. Learn new recipes, gain knowledge on how to use each ingredient and taste the preparations at the end of the demonstration.

  • Food and Wine Pairing

Let's your client develop their talent and taste buds for successful food and wine pairing. This is a 2 hour demonstration with a Le Cordon Bleu Chef working side by side with a wine expert. The Chef prepares a complete menu and the wine expert shows them how to carefully select the wine to complement each dish. Enjoy!

  • Paris Market Tour

Join a Le Cordon Bleu Chef as they take your clients on a walking tour around an open-air Parisian market. Learn useful tips for selecting quality fruit, vegetables and traditional French products. After visiting the market a light lunch is served.
This is followed by a 2 1/2 hour culinary demonstration during which the Chef prepares a complete menu using the products purchased at the market.

  • Traditional Breadbaking

The art of making bread and pastries will no longer hold any secrets for your clients. A Le Cordon Bleu Chef teaches your clients the uses of fresh yeast, the different types and qualities of flour, and how to master the various stages of bread, croissants and other traditional loaves baking.

  • Cuisines of the World

Le Cordon Bleu is present in more than 20 countries enabling us to share enriched and diverse culinary traditions. Take a culinary voyage to Japan, Turkey, Peru, India and many other countries during a full day workshop.
Each course is dedicated to one country and two Chefs, a Le Cordon Bleu Chef and a Chef from the respective country guide your clients in discovering flavors, ingredients and culinary techniques.

  • Visits to Vineyards

A day in the vineyards with a Le Cordon Bleu wine expert gives your clients a unique opportunity to discover the grape varieties, terroirs, and wine-making traditions of different regions of France such as the Loire Valley, Champagne, Sancerre and Chablis. The day trips are relaxed and packed with stimulating learning experiences. Transport, gourmet meals, and tastings are included in the price.

  • French Regional Cuisine

Discover the origins of French gastronomy by exploring the cuisine of different regions of France. This 2 day workshop enables your clients to master French regional dishes through a series of demonstrations followed by hands-on classes. A Le Cordon Bleu Chef will illustrate how subtle blends of flavors distinguish several regions of France such as Provence, Normandy, Alsace, Basque Country, Burgundy and many more

  • Customized programs for private groups

Most of the programs listed in their calendar are available for private groups and can be tailor-made (minimum of 15 people for demonstrations and 10 for hands-on classes).

Petits Cordons Bleus

Introduce the little ones to the magic of the gastronomy world! The Petits Cordons Bleus is the perfect culinary experience for children between the ages of 8 and 12. These workshops encourage children to develop their creativity in a friendly atmosphere under the supervision of a Le Cordon Bleu Chef. At the end of the workshop the children take their cuisine or pastry creation home to share with their family. A 10% discount is available for children registering for 3 or more workshops. A uniform can be purchased at the school boutique for 21 euros. We also organize children’s birthday parties!
