A Parisian Shopping Escapade by House of Misu!

Everyone travels for many reasons - to find something, to lose something, to eat something and most often for many…to buy something. Indian fashion and lifestyle influencers House of Misu share some of their favourite shopping haunts in Paris.

Everyone already knows about shopping on the Champs-Élysées, but we prefer the less touristy Rue Saint Honoré where many of the same stores are much less crowded.

La Vallée Village - A Member of The Bicester Village Shopping Collection, situated about 30 minutes from the city centre, is another shopping treasure trove. It’s an assembly of luxury discount stores made to look like a charming village straight out of a fairy tale.

If you’re looking for something a little more avant garde, take a stroll down the Marais where you will find designer stores like Isabel Marant and John Galliano along with vintage boutiques, local designers and hip concept stores. Here, you will even find eclectic home décor stores and cafés where you can rest your weary feet after a day well shopped. Merci, a massive fair trade concept store with a lovely in-house café and a vintage store called Violette et Léonie are also worth a visit! For a one-stop shop in Le Marais, pop into the department store of BHV. It’s highend and high street with just a sprinkle of vintage.

Thanx God I'm a VIP at 12 rue de Lancry is another wicked vintage store. Serious labels like YSL and Alaïa are neatly arranged here, a delight to the eyes if you’re one of those who abhor the messy vintage store vibes.

I am certain you know about Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, both situated on Haussmann. Whether you are in the mood to buy food, fashion, beauty products or home décor, Le Bon Marché – an art deco style department store is your best bet.

Every day there is a new gem waiting to be discovered in the Parisian shopping circuit. This is just the tip of the iceberg!
