The new Netflix hit series
Unforgettable thanks to the film “Pretty Best Friends”: It is a real pleasure to follow Omar Sy on his journey through Paris.
The young Assane Diop (played by Omar Sy) sees his life turned upside down after the death of his father. He was wrongly charged with a crime he did not commit. Twenty-five years later, Assane tries to avenge his father's death, instigated by his hero: Arsène Lupin.
Inspired by one of the most famous works in French literature by Maurice Leblanc, which has been honored by numerous adaptations in the last century, the new television series from Netflix, directed by Louis Leterrier (The Transporter, The Incredible Hulk, Danny the Dog) shows a contemporary version by Arsène Lupin, master in the art of disguise and the legendary break-ins in grandiose Paris around the turn of the century 1900.
