Strolling in Tours with the talented photographer Eddy Lust, always surprising and poetic

Eddy Lust is 20 years old and already has 7 years of photography under his belt. He takes us in his home town of Tours, on a journey wandering between summer and autumn, city and countryside, the timeless and the contemporary, day and night.

Photography takes the temporary and makes it eternal. Capturing unique shots like this one is the reason why I never leave home witout my camera.

Faced with the immensity of the Loire, you can't help but feel tiny.

The sunset is always a very special moment. The lights and colours are both flamboyant and fleeting.

Using a long exposure, I was able to create a world of magic with the light from the merry-go-round. It's also a novel way of illustrating the passing of time.

Like so many photos, this one wasn't planned. I was simply attracted to the lights of this service station.

In this shot I wanted to take something ordinary and make it abstract.

Sometimes all you have to do to capture a piece of magic is look out of the window.

This photo was taken one misty morning. I gave myself just ten minutes in a botanical garden to capture the first colours of autumn.

For this photo, I wanted to capture a sense of calm in the city-center at sunrise.

From time to time, it’s good to get away from the city and appreciate the sunset from a different angle.

This shot taken in Perraudière Park in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire was the result of a 60-second long exposure.

Sometimes, to get the result you want, you have to take a dozen photos of a single subject. This came out right the first time and was exactly as I'd expected, which makes it quite unique.
