The mountain-biking MB Race at the Portes du Mont Blanc

The 10th edition of the MB Race, the most difficult mountain biking race in the world, will take place on the Portes du Mont Blanc, from July 5 to 7, 2019.

The setting chosen for the 10th edition of this exceptional mountain bike event includes Combloux, Megève, La Giettaz, Cordon and Sallanches, all with Mont Blanc as a backdrop.

Despite its level of difficulty, the event remains open to all audiences (children, adults, beginners or experts) with seven events available for viewing: MB Ultra, MB Explore, MB e-Rando, MB Enduro, MB First, MB Kids and MB Draisienne. On the occasion of the 10th edition, the MB Race will celebrate the “finishers,” the participants, the volunteers and the staff who made the event a success and continue to develop it.

Among the new features, the MB First (20 KM/12.4 miles) will be open to everyone from 15 years old and up, and will allow younger cyclists to discover the atmosphere that reigns on the mythical trails of the MB Race!

The MB Explore (35 km/21.7 miles | 55km/35.2 miles) is a challenge in its own right, including 50 km (31 miles) of mountain biking through breathtaking landscapes facing Mont Blanc!

In the “classics” the mythical MB Ultra (70 km/43.5 miles | 100 km/62.1 miles km | 140 km/87 miles) takes place on the trails of Mont Blanc, dropping 7000 m (22965 ft) in altitude drop over 140 km (87 miles) for participants who will have only one objective: become “finisher” of the most difficult race in the world!

The MB Enduro (with five “Specials”) is a one-day race running the old-fashioned way, where piloting and technique are put in the spotlight.

With the MB E-rando (35 km/21.7 Miles | 55 km/43.5 Miles), the MB Race also knows how to make discover its mountain biking trails that delight lovers of beautiful routes.

The young competitors from 7 to 14 years old also have their race, the MB Kids, open to the MB finishers of tomorrow! Highlight of the weekend, the little ones have fun on a loop in the heart of the exhibitors' village!
