La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc

La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc has a reputation as being the most challenging international dog sled race in the world. The 2018 event will run from 13 to 24 January.

Every year, it attracts 20 of the world’s best mushers. These athletes of the extreme cold cover 1,000 km through Savoie and Haute-Savoie in 9 stages, during which they will climb more than 30,000 metres of mountainous territory drawn by 300 of the very best Alaskan and Siberian Huskies.

La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc is also an opportunity to enjoy all the entertainment and festivities on offer in all 22 participating resorts and villages in magical polar temperatures.
