A truly private residence of some 315m² spread across four floors. A Sauna, steam room and cinema adorn the property; artwork even decorates the Chalet, an added bonus for art aficionados such as myself and my wife.
John winters in Courchevel. He is not only an incredibly famous hairdresser, but he’s also my longstanding friend of many years. You lie down to get your hair washed, a totally different salon experience!
A lovely, comfortable restaurant that effortlessly blends mountain and contemporary styles. In the traditional kitchen we sip on vintage beverages to the sound of a piano.
Rue Park City
Dogsled, snowmobile, or paragliding: the team at Courchevel Aventure are never short on good ideas. The most recent burst of adrenaline? Skijoring with my sons... a memorable day out!
Rue de la Croisette
"Altitude Extrême (Extreme Altitude)" is their signature treatment. Designed by skiers, it goes down just as well with chefs! It relaxes your mind and body. I never want to leave... Perfect in their double cabin with my wife.
A member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux hotel range, this is not one to be missed. I’m a particular fan of dinner at the Chabotté, at the foot of the slopes. It’s a great mix of Savoy warmth and quality bistro cuisine. Twice a week, Michel Rochedy and Stéphane Buron give cooking lessons.
90 Route des Chenus
This is the resort’s traditional great Savoy restaurant. It’s named after the highest point in Courchevel, but first and foremost it’s chez Jacques (Trauchessec). If you like a black truffle, you can’t afford to miss it.
Place du Rocher Centre station
As of February 2017, the superlative chef Yannick Alléno has six stars in the Michelin guide between Paris (Alléno Paris) and Courchevel (Le 1947).
