Purchases made over EURO 175 on the same day are eligible for a 12% tax refund. The Galeries Lafayette makes it simple for you. Head over to the tourist tax refund (détaxe) office on the basement main building with your passport and sales receipts. Depending on the method of reimbursement chosen, a Tax Refund Form will be issued for you. When exiting the European Union, make sure the form is validated by the EU Customs and present the form and your purchases before luggage check in at either the airport, train station or border point and claim your refund.
