Congratulations are in order for Ms Anita  Kamath - based in Bangalore who has won a very special trip for two to France!

Ms Anita Kamath followed our simple recipe of the perfect Goût de/Good France experience. She registered online, filled in our
questionnaire, enjoyed a delectable encounter with French cuisine at the Sunny’s restaurant in Bangalore and sent us her selfie with Good France Menu... and voila! She can now create
her “Good France holiday”!

Her experience of all things French will commence cocooned in the comfort of travel courtesy Air France.

She will experience the charm and discreet elegance of hotels 2 nights accommodation in
Paris at the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel and 2 nights accommodation in Champagne at the Hôtel Mercure Reims
Centre Catherdrale offered by Accor Hotels.

While in Paris, she will experience the art of French cuisine
at a culinary workshop by Le Cordon Bleu.

With Rail Europe on board, a quick ride on the super-efficient TGV between Paris and Champagne will complete her Good France experience!

The Goût de/Good France project was launched by the Erstwhile Tourism minister, H.E. Mr Laurent Fabius, under the aegis of celebrated chef Alain Ducasse – aimed, over the space of a dinner, to salute the excellence of French cuisine, its innovative skills, and the values that it
conveys: bringing people together over a shared meal, the pleasure of taste,
and the balance between human beings and the products of nature.

This international event came in the wake of “Gastronomic Meal of the French” being inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List.

India had responded enthusiastically to this project with 50 restaurants participating
to be a part of this event. To give an impetus to this project, the Embassy of
France in India and Atout France - France Tourism Development Agency in
partnership with Air France, Rail Europe, Accor Hotels - Novotel Paris Centre
Tour Eiffel
, Hôtel Mercure Reims Centre Catherdrale and Le Cordon Bleu had launched an
online contest encouraging patrons to dine at any of the participating
restaurants with a trip for two to France as the contest prize.
