Discover Bordeaux's historic city-centre by mini train. This 1 hour journey provides up, close and personal encounters with must-see monuments. 

 

Shop till you drop at Bordeaux's famous Golden Triangle formed by the Alley de Tourny, The Cours Clemenceau and the Cours de l'Intendance! 

 

A few wine estates in and around Bordeaux have specially planned activities to keep kids entertained. Going Underground in St Emilion

Of Oysters and Sand Dunes in the Bay of Arcachon 

 

At less than an hour from Bordeaux lies the fascinating Bay of Arcachon replete with fascinating landscapes and oyster ports. Enjoy an oyster meal and take on a discovery of Europe's highest sand-dune, the Dune of Pilat. This 3 km long sand dune measures 105m long and offers fantastic views of the Bay, a natural reserve and the Landes forest. 

 

Glamour in Biarritz 

 

The sea lures you to Biarritz, a watering hole of the world elite. Its beaches are often the favourite haunt of surfers. Choose to enjoy wellness cures, a good game of golf or discoveries of its museums or local sites. Its casino and collection of restautrants and bars promise well-spent evenings.

 

On The Fast Track 

 

Paris and Bordeaux enjoy regular connections and are approximately 3 hours away on the TGV. 

 

The train takes you to St Emilion from Bordeaux in 30 minutes and to Arcachon in less than an hour. Biarritz is less than a 2 hour TGV train ride from Bordeaux.
